Jonluke McKie is an award winning theatre maker and director, based in the North East of England.

As a maker, he creates socially engaged, contemporary theatre that has a down-to-earth voice. Often, he explores cross-platform approaches and the intersection of class, queerness and other marginalised voices.

As a director, Jonluke works in New Writing, often collaborating with writers from very early in the writing process. His work has toured nationally and internationally.

Jonluke is a highly experienced facilitator and often works in co-creative and community settings.
