The Devil Danced in Our eyes

A one-man gig-theatre show with live animation and original music. The Devil Danced in Our Eyes is a feast for the eyes and the ears as performer Jonluke interweaves theatre with original songs and a live musical score, created with guitar, vocals, body percussion and a loop-pedal. The funny and poignant story is enhanced by bold, kinetic animations, created before the audiences eyes each night by AV specialist and VJ Simon Cole. The story follows Jamie, a fifteen-year-old boy who’s exploring his sexuality online. When his beloved Granda’ Frankie dies, Jamie’s mum’s mental health spirals. Left to his own devices Jamie spends more and more time online – soaring through a digital realm of pixels, kilobytes and the occasional adult chatroom, where Jamie forms a friendship with an older man known only as Windsor_56, and everything changes forever.
