Jonluke is an illustrator and visual artist. His work is sketchy and organic, using pencil, ink, mixed media and digital art techniques.
As well as undertaking graphic design and illustration commissions Jonluke is an experienced facilitator and community arts practitioner and regularly runs co-created arts projects.
We Are Here
The brief: To co-create an illustrated map with an intergenerational group of community members from Thirsk. Rather than landmarks and locations, the map will describe memories and stories, and reference additional artwork and poetry created by the group.
Commissioned by Rural Arts
The brief: To create two illustrations of the front and back of the theatre venue to form the front and back cover of the brochure, highlighting the diversity and lively spirit of the organisation.
