Jonluke McKie
I’m an illustrator and multidisciplinary artist based in the North East of England. I mostly use analogue mediums such as ink, acrylic and pencil, occasionally augmented with digital art techniques. My work is sketchy, textured and full of movement and expression.

I’m particularly interested in children’s book illustration, characters, illustrated maps and I'm passionate about representing marginalised groups, particularly LGBTQIA+ and socio-economically diverse subjects.

I’m an experienced facilitator and community arts practitioner and regularly run co-created arts projects across the north of England. Clients/commissioners include Rotherham Children's Capital of Culture, Glow Newcastle Cultural Education Partnership, Rural Arts, Alphabetti Theatre and Curious Monkey Theatre.
