From 2010 - 2026 Jonluke was artistic director of Precious Cargo Theatre.

Precious Cargo was a grass-roots theatre company creating contemporary theatre with magical realism, often performing in none-traditional spaces. Their work toured nationally and internationally.

Projects included:

• Into Thin Air, by Allison Davies and Precious Cargo - National Tour, funded through Arts Council England

• If Word’s Weren’t Free - commissioned by South Tyneside Library Services and The Custom’s House Theatre

• The Last Drop, by Beth Coverdale - Site Specific, immersive play

• When She Went, by Beth Coverdale - Prague Fringe Festival
