When She Went

"I felt her breath on my shoulder, and then she was gone."

By Beth Coverdale

Precious Cargo

When a nameless girl dives from the iconic Tyne Bridge in Newcastle, six passers-by are propelled forward, questioning their relationships, choices and the ultimate transience of being human.

As we watch their destinies unfold, through lyrical language, funny little moments and sharp, ensemble performance, audiences are left asking: What really makes a person worth remembering?

When She Went previewed at Prague Fringe Festival 2011 and was performed at the Cumberland Arms in Newcastle upon Tyne
